Dear (Candidate),

        In July of this year, the Breed’s Hill Institute sent out an invitation to all the serious candidates for President.  We invited you to show your commitment to the powerful American ideals expressed in our founding documents by signing replicas of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Since that time, some candidates have contacted us, some have ignored our invitation, and some have left the race. We have waited respectfully for your response and continue to do so. At this time, we are ready to proceed with the next phase of our program.  In this phase, which begins November 30^th 2007, we will make public the names of those candidates who have agreed to sign and those who have not. We earnestly hope to add your name to the list of those who will be signing our nation’s historic documents. The actual signing will be at a time and place of your choosing, either public or private, with an official of the Breed’s Hill Institute present or without. We want this to be as easy and accessible to you and your campaign as possible. Our deadline to respond is 5:00 PM Pacific standard time November 28^th. Your campaign schedulers may contact us by phone or email.
